The game has too much to offer to delay playing it

Dragon Age: Inquisition is launching today and most long-time fans of the franchise or the BioWare role-playing game structure will need to create a character with whom to tackle the complex story and the impressive side-quests.

The creation system included in the new title is complex and engaging, with plenty of options for each race, some unique twists for the Qunari race that has been added now, and the ability to recreate pop culture icons and other well-known video game characters (this is not encouraged).

The player community will unleash a lot of creativity using the character creator in Inquisition, but my advice to those who are starting the game would be to spend at most 10 minutes with it initially.

The reason is simple: the game is huge and it’s more interesting to experience the exploration, combat and storytelling created by BioWare than to focus on the development of the main character.

For my first run through the game, I only made sure I had a female redhead, the character I play in almost all BioWare titles, and then I jumped right in.

Only for my second campaign did I spend more than half an hour making sure that all the details on my Elf mage were perfect before starting the actual story.

Of course, those who plan to experience only one playthrough of Dragon Age: Inquisition should be very satisfied with their character before they move forward.
