14 DAY TRIAL // The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt PC users can finally download hotfix update 1.06 for the role-playing game via both the GOG Galaxy and Steam clients. A full changelog for the small patch is also available, detailing the new improvements and fixes.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt launched on May 19 across the PC, PS4, and Xbox One platforms worldwide. Right at launch, not one but two different updates were released by studio CD Projekt Red, in order to make a few emergency fixes and ensure that all future free DLC is compatible no matter the region.
Since then, many other updates have been released. The latest is patch 1.06 for The Witcher 3 on PC. It brings quite a few interesting fixes for certain quests, environments, and items.
While the update is classified as a small hotfix one, it's still mandatory for players of the game on PC via both the GOG Galaxy and Steam clients.
PS4 and Xbox One users will get the same tweaks, plus a few new ones, via patch 1.05 for their versions of The Witcher 3 later this week, depending on when the update exits the certification processes for Microsoft and Sony, respectively.
