PS4 system software update 1.60 is finally available for download worldwide, as Sony has just rolled out the new firmware across its PSN servers.

The PS4 received quite a few small software updates since its debut in November, but now firmware 1.60 is rolling out around the world.

The new software brings support for Sony's own line of Wireless headsets, including the Pulse editions, but also the upcoming Wireless Headset 2.0.

System stability has also been improved by the upcoming firmware, while the option to mute the microphone on the PS4 camera is also included.

You can download PS4 firmware update 1.60 right now from Softpedia and apply it using a USB stick. You can also apply the new system software by connecting your PS4 to the Internet and transferring it from the PlayStation Network.
