Infinity Ward has just rolled out a set of brand new updates for Call of Duty: Ghosts on the PC platform, in the form of a 452.6MB patch for the multiplayer and a 12.1MB one for the single-player, apparently removing the necessity of 6GB of RAM while adding new eSports options for multiplayer matches.

Call of Duty: Ghosts on the PC generated a big controversy earlier this month due to several issues, chief among which being the fact that it needed 6GB of RAM, even if it consumed around 2GB of actual memory.

Now, two new updates for Ghosts on PC have just been rolled out via the Steam service.

As always, Infinity Ward declined to offer official notes or a changelog but Steam users are reporting the fact that the game can now be played on computers with 4GB of RAM.

What's more, new eSports options have been added to the configuration screen of private multiplayer matches.

Expect an official statement soon.
