The first story-based download content for Deus Ex: Human Revolution, called The Missing Link, is now available for download on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, with Square Enix and Eidos Montreal also releasing a special launch trailer for it.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution impressed legions of gamers back in August when it was released for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, thanks to its great gameplay, the almost perfect mix between shooting and role playing elements, and the immersive story.

Now, Square Enix, its publisher, and Eidos Montreal, its developer, have released the first story-based add-on, called the Missing Link, that showcases just what happened with protagonist Adam Jensen during three days that were skipped by the story in the original game.

Besides the new missions, The Missing Link adds more conspiracies to the plot of the game, new environments and characters, while allowing players to re-configure Jensen's augmentations from scratch.

The Missing Link is available as a paid DLC for Deus Ex: Human Revolution on the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, costing $14.99 (10.99 Euros) on Steam, $14.99 or 13.99 Euros on the PlayStation Network, and 1200 MS Points on the Xbox Live Marketplace.
