WayForward's reboot of the '80s arcade brawler Double Dragon: Neon is now available on Steam.

Players will be able to control legendary martial artists Billy and Jimmy Lee in the re-imagining of the classic Double Dragon side-scrolling beat'em up games, allowing players to once again save Marian from distress.

Double Dragon: Neon features new powers and attacks and a brand new (and shiny) online multiplayer co-op mode, courtesy of developer Abstraction Games. Players will be able to dish out pain using a variety of weapons, including bats, knives, whips and loads more.

The battle system has seen some considerable improvements since the old arcade days, and players can now string together attacks in brutal combos and mix and match unique abilities in order to deliver powerful and devastating techniques.

Double Dragon: Neon is available on Steam, coming as the bonus of a healthy dose of '80s nostalgia.
