Valve's yearly Dota 2 tournament, The International, will take place in Seattle from July 18 to July 21, and tickets for the event will go on sale on April 4.

As rumored before, The International has changed venue to Seattle's KeyArena, as the official Dota 2 blog announced. For people who want to get an idea of what exactly goes down during such eSports events, Valve just released the Free to Play feature-length documentary, talking specifically about the people who play Dota 2.

There will be three kinds of tickets available, going for $99 / €72 for general admission, $199 / €144 for floor seats and $499 / €362 for the VIP package, including access to all six days of playoffs, floor seating, and the exclusive meet and greet sessions and the after party.

All tickets include access to all four days of the Championships Event taking place at KeyArena, and this year there will be a total of 11 teams invited directly, as well as four Regional Qualifiers taking place May 12 through May 25, with the winner of each Qualifier receiving an invitation, and the four runner-ups competing in Seattle for the final spot in the bracket.

Tickets will become available this Friday, April 4, starting at 3:00 PM PDT / 22:00 GMT, via Ticketmaster.
