The Doom reboot is still alive and will get a proper reveal at QuakeCon 2014 in July, at least according to a new teaser trailer that's just been released by publisher Bethesda at E3 2014 this week.

A new Doom game has been in development at franchise founder id Software for quite some time, but reports of internal struggles, poor management, and massive departures of key members like John Carmack haven’t been doing it any favors.

However, Bethesda is determined to continue with the project and has even promised those who got Wolfenstein: The New Order last month access into the Doom beta.

Now, at E3 2014, the publisher has launched a teaser trailer that emphasizes the main enemies in the new Doom game.

Once again, players will have to deal with aliens that combine flesh and metal to generate some true abominations, as you can see above.

The full reveal of the game will be made at QuakeCon 2014 next month. The large expo focused on all things id Software will take place in Dallas, Texas, between July 17 and 20.

Expect to hear more about the new Doom game at that time. Until then, admire the trailer below.
