14 DAY TRIAL // The development team at Retro Studios and publisher Nintendo are delivering a launch trailer for their upcoming Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, designed to offer players a quick look at the characters included in the game and the core mechanics.
The game is set to be launched on the Wii U home console on February 13 in Japan, with gamers in North America and Europe needing to wait until February 21 to buy it.
The story of the game is centered around Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Dixie Kong and Cranky Kong.
Each character will come complete with its own set of mechanics and will have unique ways to get past the complex platforming challenges.
Cranky Kong is playable in the series for the first time ever and long-term fans will be able to explore some of the most interesting environments ever created for the franchise.
