French developer Cyanide Studios has announced that its online turn-based tactical game Dogs of War Online will be entering open beta tomorrow.

Dogs of War Online is based on the Confrontation fantasy wargaming ruleset, being set in the medieval high fantasy world of Aarklash, the same that the developer based a few other games on.

The game focuses on tactical skirmishes between small numbers of units, and has three unique factions, each of them having several sub-factions that will be introduced to Dogs of War Online in future updates.

The game will be free to play, and will be available for everyone with a Steam account. The news came via the company's Twitter today, after the initial release, scheduled for last week, had to be postponed.

We have already reviewed Dogs of War, and everyone curious to find out more about the challenging and satisfying tactical game can have a look.

Dogs of War Online will start its open beta test on Tuesday, February 4, at 10:00 AM PST / 18:00 GMT.
