14 DAY TRIAL // Developer Larian Studios has released a new in-game footage trailer for its upcoming role-playing game Divinity: Original Sin.
Divinity: Original Sin is a successor of the Divinity series, aiming to provide a modern experience similar to that of old-school role-playing games, complete with tactical turn-based combat. The game's complexity is staggering, and it offers players a lot of choice regarding their interactions with both the environment and other in-game characters.
The game's Kickstarter campaign was a huge success, and the developers mentioned that they turned to crowd-funding in order to keep more creative freedom, as working with a publisher in the past has impeded their ability to deliver the experience they truly wanted to achieve.
The new video, shared on Twitter, offers a sneak preview of the content that will be added to the game this spring, showing an ever-growing and fully-interactive world as well as the first glimpse of Rivellon's fairytale landscapes and creatures and some of the new weather effects.
The game is available on Steam Early Access, and we got our hands dirty and came out with a nice preview of Divinity: Original Sin.
