Larian Studios' anticipated role-playing game is setting out to be one of this year's best

Larian Studios has just announced that they will be moving the release date of their upcoming role-playing game Divinity: Original Sin from June 20 to June 30.

Divinity: Original Sin has had a rather lengthy testing phase, thanks to all the Kickstarter backers and adopters on Steam Early Access, but the developer believes that there are still a few finishing touches to add before launch.

As the team desires to deliver the best possible product at launch, and they're not yet happy with the state the game is in so far, they have decided to take some extra time to add voice-overs for a range of characters, as well as to work on resolving a number of pesky bugs, in order to deliver the well-polished experience they seek out to deliver.

Players who have already purchased a copy of Divinity: Original Sin on Steam Early Access will still be able to enjoy the game until release, and developer Larian Studios has apologized to all the players who have been patiently waiting for the game's release.

Divinity: Original Sin is slated to release on June 30, 2014, for the Windows PC and Mac platforms, and is currently available as a beta version on Steam Early Access. A Linux version of the game is also in the works, to be released at a later date.
