14 DAY TRIAL // God of War: Ascension came out earlier this week on the PlayStation 3 around the world and Sony has now revealed that a digital download version of the hack and slash game will be released next week.
God of War fans have finally received the newest installment in the franchise this week, in the form of Ascension, which delivers a prequel to the main trilogy and introduces plenty of new features, like a multiplayer mode.
The game appeared at the beginning of the week on the PlayStation 3 as a retail release, and now the digital download version of the hack and slash title will appear on the PlayStation Store soon.
According to the PS blog, a Sony Computer Entertainment Europe representative mentioned that God of War: Ascension will be released digitally at least on the PS Store in PAL regions (Europe, Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East) next week.
As of yet, it's unclear if the downloadable edition of God of War: Ascension will also appear next week on the North American PS Store, but you can expect an official announcement soon.
