The development team at Blizzard announces that all players who are currently engaging with Diablo 3 will be able to get a 50% experience bonus for all their characters starting from now until March 24, just ahead of the launch date for the Reaper of Souls expansion.

The idea is to allow gamers to progress through the new version of the Paragon system, which was introduced via the 2.0.1 patch.

The team explains in the official announcement that “The new Paragon Leveling system not only allows ALL of your characters to share and contribute towards a single account-wide Paragon level, but it also grants bonus ability points with each Paragon level gained, which can be discretionally assigned to your character’s stats.”

Time spent playing Diablo 3 with the experience bonus also means that gamers will have a chance to see how the new loot system works and get some good items for their characters while also testing the way the difficulty levels of the experience have changed.

The 50% boost in XP is only offered on the PC and Mac.

Reaper of Souls is designed to add a new Crusader class to Diablo 3, more enemies to battle, and a story that focuses on the battle against Death itself.
