The development team at Blizzard announces that it’s doubling the experience bonus that gamers can earn in Diablo 3 for the weekend as the fans are getting ready to experience the all new content that is being added in the Reaper of Souls expansion.

The official blog announcement explains, "This +100% Bonus XP period begins Friday, March 21 at 12:00 p.m. PT ends on Monday, March 24 at 12:01 a.m. PT. So, (if you need to) update your Diablo III game files here, log in this weekend, and rack up some last-minute Paragon Levels to aid you in your upcoming crusade against death itself. "

Diablo 3 was significantly changed after Blizzard launched the 2.0.1 patch, which introduced an entirely new loot system and a new way to use the Paragon levels.

Since then, the company has delivered another two patches that are designed to fix some problems with the core game experience.

A solution linked to the missing items problem will also be deployed shortly by the team at Blizzard.

Reaper of Souls will introduce a new class for the game, the Crusader, and players will also be able to explore new areas in the fifth act of the action RPG.
