Diablo 3 will get its first Season 1 adventure on August 29, as Blizzard has presented a full schedule for the release of the new feature at the end of the week.

Diablo 3 is going to receive its next major update 2.1.0 later today, August 26, in the Americas region, and the patch is expected to appear in other territories like Europe and Asia in the following days.

Once the new update is live worldwide, one of its core features, the Seasons mechanic, will get its first adventure, in the form of Season 1.

Blizzard has confirmed on the official Battle.net forums that the event is set to begin on Friday, August 29. However, in order to ensure that everything goes off without a hitch, a staggered release is planned.

"To ensure the roll-out process goes as smoothly as possible for all players, we're planning both a delayed and staggered release, with different gameplay regions launching the season at different times after patch 2.1.0 ships."

As such, Season 1 is set to begin first in Asia, then in Europe, and finally in America. Check out the full schedule below.

Asia: 9:00 a.m. PDT (1:00 a.m. KST, UTC +9) Europe: 12:00 p.m. PDT (9:00 p.m. CEST, UTC +2) Americas: 6:00 p.m. PDT (UTC -10)

Expect to hear more about the first Season in Diablo 3 in the following days.
