A brand new hotfix patch for Diablo 3 has just been released by developer Blizzard, solving quite a few glitches relating to the damage over time effect in many situations, while improving the game's performance when big spells like Blazing Hydra or Mammoth Hydra were employed.

Diablo 3 has been around for many years now, but thanks to plenty of updates and new content, millions of players are still actively enjoying the role-playing dungeon crawler all over the world across the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One consoles.

Now, a new hotfix tweak has been rolled out onto the game's servers in order to solve some glitches that affected damage over time situations.

More specifically, according to the official forums, damage over time effects for the Pain Enhancer, the Gem of Efficacious Toxin, or Firebird's Finery would often glitch out and permanently snapshot damage buffs.

All these situations have been rectified, so users can no longer take advantage of the glitches to take down challenging enemies.

Another specific fix improves the game's performance when Wizards deploy their Blazing Hydra or Mammoth Hydra abilities, as apparently, Diablo 3 had some problems when they were unleashed.

The new hotfix is already live on the game's servers and doesn't require an actual download from players.
