Legendary gear should no longer provide unintended bonuses

Diablo 3 has just received a brand new hotfix update from Blizzard in order to solve some of the damage buff glitches that happened when certain legendary items were used, as well as some issues that caused players to take damage when activating a Shield Pylon.

Diablo 3 has been around for quite some time, and after rolling out an expansion and new console versions, Blizzard is limiting itself to releasing new updates for the dungeon crawling RPG in order to keep players happy.

The latest patch has just arrived as a hotfix, as Blizzard confirms on the official forums that three different damage buff glitches have been resolved. More specifically, if players used legendary gear like Band of Hollow Whispers, Pox Faulds, or Sebor's Nightmare, they'd get a permanent damage buff due to certain issues.

Besides fixing those problems, the new update also resolves a problem with Shield Pylons in Greater Rifts, as players would sometimes receive damage even if the effect was still active.

Another hotfix is on the way, which should lower the amount of experiences and gold offered by subsequent completions of the quest The Broken Blade, in order to prevent abuse. Unfortunately, it's unclear when it might go live.

The latest hotfix is available for the game and doesn't require any extra download.
