14 DAY TRIAL // The development team at Blizzard announces that it is celebrating the second anniversary of the launch of Diablo 3 with a new promotion, which allows gamers who log into the title during the coming week to get double Rift fragments and a 100 percent boost to the change to pick up Legendary Items for their character.
The company explains in the official announcement that, "On May 15, 2012, the gates of the Burning Hells opened and Diablo III was unleashed onto the world. Since then, millions of heroes have been created, billions of hours have been spent in games, and trillions of demons have been slaughtered without mercy. We've even released an expansion!"
The offer will be live until Thursday, May 22 at 5 AM Pacific Daylight Time.
The increase in Legendary Item changes is only offered to those who are playing Diablo 3 on the PC and the Mac and it applies to all characters that a player has and might stack with other bonuses they already have.
Blizzard has recently launched the 2.0.5 patch for the title, which caused issues for some players, and has pledged that it will support Diablo 3 in the long term, with rumors suggesting that another expansion is being planned.
