Dreadlocks are showing some of the gameplay elements set in the futuristic city of Harbor Prime, in their newest trailer for the cyberpunk side-scrolling stealth beat'em up role-playing game Dex.

The gameplay looks like a diverse melange of genres coming straight out of William Gibson's fantasy worlds, with players able to explore hand-drawn locations in the city of Harbor Prime while experiencing an innovative approach to role-playing elements.

The trailer illustrates combat, both hand-to-hand and armed, varied character interactions and dialogue options and even a bit of cyberspace.

The cyberpunk vibe is vibrant in the trailer, the city looks authentic, from the color palette to the medical centers, the decrepit streets and the sewers, the visuals all look striking and atmospheric.

Dex is currently scheduled for release in June 2014 for the PC, after being successfully Greenlit on Steam. The game has also managed to meet its Wii U stretch goal.

More information on the upcoming game can be found on its Kickstarter page.
