Capcom has confirmed that its upcoming Devil May Cry HD Collection is now scheduled to appear on April 3, for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

The Devil May Cry series has been around for quite some time, releasing some quality hack and slash titles on the PlayStation 2, as well as the more recent Devil May Cry 4 for the PS3 and Xbox 360.

Until Ninja Theory finishes the upcoming reboot of the franchise, in the form of DmC Devil May Cry, Capcom announced earlier this year the Devil May Cry HD Collection, which bundles the first three games in the series, remastered in high definition.

The Japanese company has finally put a release date on the HD trilogy, with fans being able to once again experience Devil Cry 1 and 2, as well as Devil May Cry 3: Dante’s Awakening, on April 3, on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

No other details are known, as of yet, but you can expect the Japanese company to start revealing some more info once we get closer to the April release date of this HD collection.
