Destiny fans can enjoy a brand new playlist in the regular Crucible competitive PvP mode, in the form of Elimination, which is a tweaked version of the game type that's present in the Trials of Osiris event introduced last month by the House of Wolves expansion.

Destiny has been around for almost a year and developer Bungie has made all sorts of changes to the popular multiplayer shooter.

After debuting House of Wolves, with its array of new experiences, last month, Bungie now confirms on its blog that Crucible fans can enjoy a new playlist in the form of Elimination.

This new version of the game mode arrives with quite a few modifications as opposed to the one seen in Trials of Osiris.

The power advantages are disabled, the skill-matching and the teammate matchmaking are enabled, while map cycling is also turned on.

Last but not least, the rewards are standard, meaning players will benefit from the current Crucible reward scheme, which emphasizes more marks and legendary items.

Players are invited to use the new Elimination playlist to polish up their skills ahead of the Trials of Osiris weekend events, but bear in mind that it will be available just for a temporary period of time. No end date is known just yet, but you might want to play it sooner rather than later.
