Bungie believes that the online world it's creating with the upcoming Destiny first-person shooter will get players to visit it time and time again, even if they may sometimes be busy with other games.

Destiny is Bungie's big bet in regard to the future of gaming, as the title is an online shooter with a world that's constantly evolving based on the actions of the players.

With an ambitious 10-year plan for the game, Bungie believes that players shouldn't be forced to keep playing the title all the time.

"Given the different ways of playing Destiny, and given the fact that the game is completely dynamic and will be different every time you experience it with other people, the amount of time that we’ll be relevant to the gamers who decide to play it is something that we think will be a very long life-cycle. The idea is to create a world that you can visit over and over again," Bungie's David Dague told the PS blog.

Bungie is set to debut more details about Destiny as it gets closer to the game's launch in 2014.
