Video game publisher Capcom says the dungeon creator system it is including in its upcoming Deep Down is designed to take into account emotions in order to bring a varied set of experiences for the player.

Gematsu translates a Facebook post from the company which explains that a big number of emotions will be included in the game.

An example says that angry dungeons will have more fire-based hazards and enemies, while those built around sadness will be dominated by ice.

All the NPCs and even the loot will be based on the main emotion of a dungeon.

Deep Down is set to be launched under a free-to-play business model on the PlayStation 4 and tells a story about a time traveler who returns to the past to deal with some personal issues.

The game will use the new Panta Rhei engine, designed to take advantage of the hardware included in next-gen consoles.
