Tecmo Koei has released four new videos showcasing the intricate gameplay interactions in their upcoming PlayStation exclusive strategy action game, Deception IV: Blood Ties.

Tired of prancing around with scantily clad adolescents and casting spells or emphatically announcing your enemies' demise before delivering devastating limit break attacks? No problem, Tecmo Koei has decided to revisit their old 1996 Devil's Deception game and present gamers worldwide with the opportunity to use Rube Goldberg machines to slay their foes, in typical Tom & Jerry fashion.

Deception IV: Blood Ties tries to answer the age-long question of what would happen if you tried to spruce up The Incredible Machine games with some much-needed action in order to chase away the snore-fest.

As such, the main objective of the game is for players to defeat enemies by luring them into a wide variety of traps. Players have to prevent enemies from reaching them by crafting complex systems of comboing traps, having a large assortment of mechanisms to choose from, as can be easily seen in the accompanying videos.

Deception IV: Blood Ties is currently scheduled to come out on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita platforms on March 25 in North America and on March 28 in Europe, and is already out in Japan since February 27.
