14 DAY TRIAL // Video game developer High Moon Studios and publisher Activision are delivering the launch trailer for their upcoming Deadpool title well ahead of its actual release date, giving fans a final chance to see what the new Marvel-based adventure has to offer.
The trailer shows a limited sliver of gameplay but it does feature an endorsement from the character’s mom and Deadpool himself playing a guitar.
The tone is self-referential and manages to capture the essence of the comic book character.
The new game will use a third-person perspective with combo-based combat and quite a few Marvel characters will make appearances.
Deadpool will be playable on the PC, the PlayStation 3 from Sony and Xbox 360 from Microsoft on June 25 in the United States and three days later in Europe.
