Josh Bridge, an executive producer working on Dead Rising 3, says that the development process for the game has been significantly influenced by the extensive ways in which the fan base can communicate with the team.

He tells the Xbox Wire that, “We have a direct connection through social channels now. There’s an ease of access for us to listen to our fans and reach out to them. It’s not just about making a game and getting it out to them, it’s about making sure they’re still having a lot of fun even after it’s out.”

Dead Rising has always been one of the action game series with a passionate fan base and many were excited by the fact that the third title in the franchise would serve as a launch title for the new Xbox One.

The improved hardware of the console allowed Capcom to create situations with bigger numbers of undead on screen and more interesting gameplay mechanics.

The first of four DLC packs for Dead Rising 3 is available today on the Xbox One.
