Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition for the PlayStation 4 has just received a brand new patch designed to fix the crashes and issues that have been plaguing the game since it went live earlier this month.

Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition was released at the beginning of March as part of the free PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection in both North America and Europe.

The game, a remake of the original Dead Nation for PS3, was well received but it was also plagued by quite a few different technical problems, such as crashes and other annoying things.

Now, developer Housemarque has confirmed that a new patch, in the form of update 1.02, is available for download via the PlayStation Network.

Check out its changelog below, via TSA.

- Fixed a crash that occurred in the instance that SEN accounts have more than 100 friends. - Fixed a synchronization issue that caused players to be disconnected during online games. - Fixed an issue that allowed other players to join Private games. - Broadcast+ now accepts votes in lower case and vote effects are now reset on player death. - Updated audio libraries to fix an issue where audio could be lost during Broadcast+ and video capture.

Housemarque has also apologized for the issues and thanked fans who submitted crash reports.
