14 DAY TRIAL // Namco Bandai released a new trailer for its upcoming role-playing game Dark Souls II, featuring both cinematic sequences and in-game footage.
Dark Souls II is an action role-playing game based in an open world setting, currently being developed by Japanese video game creator From Software.
The plot will focus on a cursed character that is trying to find a cure for his affliction, and its general mood will follow in the vein of its predecessor, Dark Souls.
The new trailer presents a bit of exposition, and shows some of the grisly enemies that players will encounter in their adventures, including some downright huge apparitions that will surely rouse the interest of dark fantasy fans.
Dark Souls II is currently scheduled to make an appearance on March 14, for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms.
