A Dark Souls-themed cafe was announced to be coming last month, and now it is finally open to the public, in Nishi-Azabu, Minato, Tokyo, in a marketing effort for the upcoming March release of Dark Souls 2.

The opening night featured a medieval-themed party, with cosplay and the viewing of a trailer for the upcoming From Software action role-playing game Dark Souls 2, as Famitsu informs.

The Dark Souls-themed cafe is a result of the collaboration between Oz Cafe and Namco Bandai, the cafe embellished with a dark medieval makeover that captures the feel of the video game.

Weapons, armor, a giant map and mysterious messages all adorn the Tokyo cafe in an attempt to bring to life the fantasy atmosphere of Dark Souls, pictures being available below this article.

But it doesn't stop there, the menu has also been tailored to suit the theme, with estus flasks, roasted mushroom people and a hostess dressed up as Anastacia of Astora.

The cafe is only open from 6 PM to 4 AM, keeping in line with the nocturnal and tenebrous fantasy setting.
