The development team at From Software and publisher Namco Bandai are delivering the full launch trailer for Dark Souls 2, called Locomotive Breath after the track from Jethro Tull that provides the soundtrack.

The footage is quite atmospheric and informs gamers that one of the certainties of the coming experience is that they will die constantly while battling monsters and exploring the world.

The two companies state, "Enjoy one last time some of the nightmarish creatures you'll face in Drangleic... Praise the sun, straighten your soul: you will need it. Good luck."

Dark Souls 2 is launching on the Xbox 360 from Microsoft and the PlayStation 3 from Sony on March 11 in North America and three days later in Europe.

A PC version of the title will be delivered on April 25 and will have new features designed specifically for the platform.

The development team at From Software says that Dark Souls 2 is more approachable than the first title in the series while maintaining the hardcore difficulty that made the series famous, with new enemies and new bosses to take out.

The plot of the experience will include a new time dimension and will deal with a character that searches for a cure for his cursed nature.
