Dark Souls 2, the next installment in the challenging role-playing game series from From Software is out in March 2014, at least according to a poster that's been spotted at the E3 2013 venue in Los Angeles.

Dark Souls II is eagerly awaited by millions of RPG fans from around the world, as its predecessor, alongside the standalone Demon's Souls, attracted many through their tough as nails nature.

Last year, developer From Software and publisher Namco Bandai revealed a sequel, in the form of Dark Souls 2, and they have since released quite a few details, including gameplay videos and screenshots.

Now, it seems that the two companies will show off at E3 2013 a release date or at least a launch period for Dark Souls 2.

According to a huge poster on the event's venue, as photographed by a NeoGAF forum member, Dark Souls 2 will be released in March 2014.

The game, according to previous statements, will appear for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360, as no details about the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One were revealed.
