Dark Souls 2 could receive some downloadable content in the future, according to developer From Software, which seemingly reversed its stance based on fan feedback.

Dark Souls 2 is set to launch in March, and its developer seemingly ruled out the possibility of seeing DLC appear for the game after release, even though Dark Souls 1 received the Artorias of the Abyss add-on.

Now, producer Takeshi Miyazoe has confirmed to OXM that DLC might still appear for Dark Souls 2, depending on feedback from fans.

"Again, it's all about fan feedback," he said. "Right now we are concentrating on completing what we've got, but I think there are next steps on how we can expand on Dark Souls 2. So I'm not really ready to say look forward to more information, but I think the potential is definitely there."

As of yet, however, From Software is focused on putting the finishing touches on Dark Souls 2 ahead of its debut in March.
