The development team at Valve in charge of DOTA 2 announces that it is introducing a number of stretch goals to its Interactive Compendium application, which will allow gamers to actually choose the next hero that will be added to the Multiplayer Online Battle Arena title.

The list of goals includes:

– $2,000,000 (1.55 million Euro) – A custom HUD skin for all Compendium owners – $2,200,000 (1.62 million Euro) – A Taunt item with a brand new animation for all Compendium owners – $2,400,000 (1.7 million Euro) – Vote on participants in an 8-player Solo Championship (1 vs 1) at The International – $3,200,000 (2.45 million Euro) – Choose the next hero Valve releases.

The Interactive Compendium for DOTA 2 is a digital guide that offers much information on the game itself but also on the upcoming The International tournament.

A part of the cost of the app is thrown directly into the prize pool for the event.
