14 DAY TRIAL // Patrick Soderlund, one of the vice presidents of Electronic Arts Labels, says that the DICE team working on Star Wars Battlefront has big plans for the shooter series and wants to bring it back to its roots.
He tells CVG that “The original Battlefront games actually took a lot of inspiration from Battlefield and they’ve been publicly open about that. As the guys said, the game is ‘coming home.’ That’s as much as we can say.”
It seems that DICE’s vision for the game includes a mix of infantry combat and vehicle battles with support coming from space and the air.
More Star Wars titles from Electronic Arts are in the hands of the teams at BioWare, best known for Dragon Age and Mass Effect, and Visceral, the creators of Dead Space.
