Crysis 3, the next installment in Crytek’s popular first-person shooter series, is going to be revealed soon, at least according to Swedish magazine Game Reactor. What’s more, the game’s actual cover has already appeared on Electronic Arts’ Origin website.

Crysis 1 and 2, not to mention the spinoff Warhead, delivered intense shooter experiences with gorgeous visuals set in a futuristic world.

While Crytek has announced quite a few projects since last year’s Crysis 2, a sequel was not among them.

However, the cover of Game Reactor magazine, via NeoGAF, hints heavily at the announcement of a new Crysis game by featuring the skyline of a city in the pattern of the trademark Nanosuit from the series.

What’s more, it seems that the game’s cover has also appeared, for a short time, on Electronic Arts’ Origin website, according to CVG.

As you can make out from the image above, the game depicts a new person that’s wearing the Nanosuit, but also wields a special bow, a weapon that wasn’t included in previous games.

There’s no word yet on when the official announcement will happen, but expect some sort of confirmation soon.
