14 DAY TRIAL // The development team at Paradox Interactive working on the grand strategy title Crusader Kings 2 is celebrating April Fools' by announcing a new expansion called Crusader Kings Z, which is designed to add zombie armies to Medieval Europe.
The team says, “Expanded gameplay mechanics will allow you as a player to become a zombie ruler, rallying your undead hordes throughout Europe or a Zombie Survivor fighting for your dynasty’s survival.”
Gamers can also choose to be one of the survivors and battle the deadly threat of the zombies.
The fake expansion will apparently encourage players to move their holdings to Northern Europe in Crusader Kings Z and create new buildings that allow them to fortify their lands against the undead.
Those who choose to side with the undead will be able to raid and pillage survivors and kill them in order to grow their own strength.
