The team at the Paradox Development Studio is launching the Way of Life expansion for Crusader Kings II and gamers who do not pick up the new content will be able to get a free major patch for the video game, which solves quite a few issues and generally improves the overall experience.

The forum announcement lists close to 3,000 words worth of modifications and gamers can take a look at the full list at the bottom of this blog.

The company has managed to eliminate some of the crashes linked to Unit Packs and to settlements destroyed by Viking rulers, and a memory leak was also patched.

Crusader Kings II should also handle Gavekind succession better and there’s a new event chain that has been introduced to allow characters to find out that a concubine or spouse has been unfaithful and then decide their fate.

The Way of Life expansion for the grand strategy title also arrives today and is designed to enhance the role-playing aspects of the title, giving gamers a new Focus feature that allows them to choose an area of their lives they want to emphasize, which will result in more events over the course of their lifetime.
