Henrik Fahraeus, the project working on Crusader Kings II, says that he has a couple of expansions planned for the grand strategy title, other than the recently launched Sons of Abraham.

The developer tells Edge that, “some of them will be pretty surprising, I think… It’s an interesting place to live. I get to make exactly the kind of games I want to play myself!”

He also mentions that his team is exploring, at a conceptual level, the issues of bringing Crusader Kings II to gaming consoles and to mobile devices.

Fahraeus believes that the main problems to overcome are the control scheme and the way the user interface is designed to deliver information.

Sons of Abraham for Crusader Kings II makes religion a bigger part of the overall experience, increasing the importance of military orders, introducing Jewish characters and creating event chains that deal with the Devil and his influence.
