Tracy Hickman, multi-awarded author of fantasy books and novels, has just joined Richard Garriott’s “Shroud of the Avatar” team as lead story designer.

According to Garriot, “Tracy is not only a good friend, but also a master storycrafter whose writing I've greatly admired for over twenty years. Tracy’s talent will add a unique richness and depth to Shroud of the Avatar.”

For those out of the loop, Hickman is the creator of Dragonlance series, one of the most popular fantasy sagas that has been written to date.

In the 2-minute endorsement for Shroud of the Avatar, Tracy Hickman says “there is a tremendous opportunity to create something meaningful, challenging and wondrous in Shroud of the Avatar. I’m thrilled to play a part in it.”

“Shroud of the Avatar: Forsaken Virtues” is up on Kickstarter for another 20 days and will become reality if $1,000,000 (€750.000) are pledged. For more details on the project, check out its dedicated page on Kickstarter.
