“Viking: Battle of Asgard” hack 'n slash game was launched on PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms back in 2008, but it took Creative Assembly more than four years to bring it on PC.

The game has just been released on Steam, and like most old titles, it's available at a considerable discount. Hack 'n slash fans can grab this one for just 13 EUR/13 USD.

According to developers, the game has been graphically improved so players can take advantage of modern gaming hardware.

Keep in mind that “Viking: Battle for Asgard” features support for gamepad, but also keyboard-and-mouse control for those who prefer it.

Story-wise “players will experience unparalleled battle scenes, leading the charge in a titanic clash between powerful gods and mere men. War on an unprecedented scale will rage across a beautifully realized Viking landscape.” The game is available for download here.
