Video game developer Valve is launching a new update for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, designed to introduce a number of changes to the way servers are hosting workshop maps and to add new rules that govern tied tournament matches.

There are also fixes for a leaderboard problem, and changes made to warm-up are having an immediate effect.

The full list of modifications made to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, including the way to set up rules for tied tournament matches, are available in the official update, and are rather technical.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is the most recent incarnation of the classic team-based multiplayer competitive shooter.

The title updates both the core game mechanics and the graphics of the various maps.

Valve will continue to update Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in the coming months in order to reflect the desires of the community.
