The teams at developer Compulsion Games and publisher Focus Home Interactive are delivering a new trailer for their adventure platformer Contrast, which is focused on the story of main character Didi.

The girl has seen her parents separate and is using Dawn, an imaginary friend, in order to get over the situation.

Now the unlikely pair of companions needs to navigate a city based in Europe in the ‘20s to find out the truth about Didi’s mother.

In order to progress, players will have to use Dawn to move in and out of the shadows to solve a variety of environmental puzzles and perform some light platforming sequences.

The soundtrack is also noteworthy because it underlines the feelings of the main character and gives players a feeling of immersion.

The game is at the moment set to launch on the PC, the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 via digital distribution and retail packages.
