Joe Dimiero, who is handling public relations for Microsoft, has confirmed that Conan O’Brien and his sidekick Andy Richter, now appearing on Conan on TBS, will actually lend their voices to the upcoming Halo 4.

The pair suggested that they would be featured in the game during their show, just as they showed some footage taken from the game, but most fans of the franchise thought that Conan was only joking.

The television star has long been known for supporting video games and has featured a number of developers on his shows.

Dimiero added, “More announcements on the rest of our voice cast” will be introduced “in the coming months.”

Halo 4 is being developed by the newly formed 343 Industries and will be launched exclusively on the Xbox 360 on November 6.

The game will once again feature Master Chief and his Artificial Intelligence companion Cortana, exploring a new galaxy and fighting new enemies.
