Video game publisher Ubisoft announces that it plans to launch the turn-based role-playing game Child of Light on April 30 of this year.

The game is set to be offered on the Xbox Live service from Microsoft for the Xbox One and 360, the PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 4 and PS3, the eShop for the Nintendo Wii U and Steam on the PC, with a price of 14.00 dollars or Euro.

Child of Light is the first game to use the new UbiArt Framework, designed to allow developers to create impressive titles with superb concept art and unique mechanics.

The company says, "Players will uncover mysteries, participate in turn-by-turn combat inspired by classic JRPGs, and explore a mystical kingdom. The game puts players in the shoes of Aurora, a child stolen from her home, who, in her quest to return, must bring back the sun, the moon and the stars held captive by the mysterious Queen of the Night."
