Ubisoft has released a new trailer for its upcoming adventure game Child of Light, allowing us to catch a glimpse of the beautiful in-game world of Lemuria.

Lemuria is displayed as a fantasy realm, a land of unforgettable encounters, from gnomes and fairies and other unlikely allies that will assist you in your adventure to dark dragons and feral wolves.

Players will have to take on the role of Aurora, a child stolen from her home, and guide her in her quest to bring back the sun, moon and stars, that are being held captive by the vile Queen of the Night.

The trailer shows a haunting journey through a gorgeous and varied world, offering a preview of the various locations that players will visit during their adventure with the upcoming platforming role-playing game.

The game will play as a traditional side-scroller, with various elements from other genres such as leveling up, that allows players to increase their stats. Battles will be played out using a system similar to the Active Time Battle seen in the Final Fantasy series.

Child of Light is scheduled to come out on April 30 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U and PC platforms.
