14 DAY TRIAL // Konami has revealed another trailer for the second title in the acclaimed revival of the Castlevania franchise, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, showing some of the characters that make the upcoming game's cast.
The new Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 trailer, titled “Dracula's Destiny,” shows both familiar faces and locations as well as some of the new rivals and environments that developer Mercury Steam has prepared for players to conquer.
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 will act as the shocking conclusion to the Gabriel story arc, following the first game's revealing that he is actually the legendary Dracula.
The sequel is set in modern times, and will see players taking control of the weakened vampire, with an old ally proposing a deal that could finally offer him escape from his immortal condition.
Players will encounter familiar characters from the past, such as Zobek, one of the founders of the Brotherhood of Light, who in reality is one of the malicious Lords of Shadow who betrayed humanity. Other familiar faces are Carmilla, Marie and the old nemesis, Satan himself.
The game is currently available for preorder on the official Konami Castlevania website.
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 will be released for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC platforms, on February 25.
