14 DAY TRIAL // Card Hunter has just received its first expansion, titled Attack of the Artifacts and adding a slew of new items, adventures and, perhaps most importantly, a brand-new multiplayer league system.
Attack of the Artifacts was designed to bring a new depth to Card Hunter, a game that received the nomination for Best Debut at the Game Developers Choice Awards and was acclaimed as one of the most original games of 2014.
Card Hunter looks and plays like a board game, with every character, enemy, ability and item being represented as an in-game card.
The expansion contains six challenging new treasure-hunt adventures, a ton of new cards, new figures and over 200 new items.
During the first launch week, from April 25 through May 2, players who will log into the game will receive a free Magnificent Artifact Chest, containing five items from the new set, including one of rare or better quality.
In addition, during the launch week, players will also be able to enroll in a bunch of free leagues where they can win Pizza, chests and other enticing prizes, such as exclusive figures, with the development team rotating the leagues and running them at different times of day in order to accommodate players from all around the world.
