Developer Infinity Ward and publisher Activision are ready to offer fans of the Call of Duty franchise full information about the upgrade process that will allow them to pick up a copy of the game for current-gen consoles and then also get the title on the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4.

The team writes on the official site that, "we have been working with our retail partners and console manufacturers for the past two years on solutions to help make your transition to next gen as seamless and easy as possible. And we’re excited to be able to finally announce and provide more details on those programs today."

The article gives a full list of the retailers that offer Call of Duty: Ghosts with the upgrade options.

The game can also be bought digitally by those who are not interested in getting a retail package.

Call of Duty: Ghosts will be launched on November 5.
