Call of Duty: Ghosts developer Infinity Ward has confirmed that it's begun banning PC players who use third-party software, although it's unclear if programs like FoV Changer are affected by the new measure.

PC owners of Call of Duty: Ghosts have started seeing quite a lot of permanent bans appear for certain players, and developer Infinity Ward has revealed on Twitter that the latest wave of account bans is targeted at players who use third-party software.

This has caused some worry among players, however, as many are using the FoV Changer program to modify their field of view inside the game, as the title doesn't actually have such an option.

Infinity Ward is unclear on the matter right now, and it hasn't commented on whether or not FoV Changer will trigger bans.

The dev promised some time ago that an option inside the game to change the FoV would appear, but it still hasn't supplied any new info about that.
